Val Heliski - Our Commitment to Sustainability
We are currently undertaking a study on to the amount of CO2 emissions that are produced through our company and as soon as we have further details we will immediately affect sequestering the carbon dioxide omitted since the inception in 2009. We have access to lots of mountainside land with no trees on site which gives us the ability to offer our clients to plant trees on our land to sequester their carbon emissions for the day and also to go over and above the emissions they have created and to cover their entire holiday. The full study will be published on this website post this season however in the interim we will be using data from Edinburgh University Sustainability professors on the emission of CO2 in mountain environments from planes helicopters and vehicles so we can start planting indigenous trees straight away.
