Once you have experienced the serenity and beautifully back to basics feeling touring offers and terrain we are able to access you will keep coming back for more. Instilling confidence and a sense of security by having one of Val Heliski’s mountain Guides or Instructors leading the way and tips on technique are a given with Val Heliski. Fast becoming a popular activity to get you into the true back country unaided by lifts or a helicopter, there is a sense of wonder and satisfaction that is unrivalled. Often an option to stop at a Mountain refuge for lunch or an overnight stay perhaps? Along with an experienced Val Heliski Guide or Instructor, we offer our hire and fitting of our state of the art Salomon Touring and splitboarding kit if you should need it as a one stop shop to get you into the outback. Join us for an experienced touring programme into some far reaching and beautiful vistas or for an Intro to touring as we begin to venture off the beaten track. including full training on touring and avalanche kit included during the program.

Tarentaise Tour
From: €110ppSuitable for skiers only with your own touring equipment or renting ours, this is a full day of touring, hiking and skiing. Very much a day to chomp through the miles getting from A to B whilst visiting 5 different ski resorts en-route and taking in the beautiful scenery of the Vanoise National Park.

Our team will fit your kit and show you how to use it before the lifts even open and your guide / instructor will start the day with a warm up before an introduction to the touring / splitboarding technique, mountain safety and making the most of the down hills. Whilst touring up is important and great fun we always aim to make it worth your while with some interesting descents and best conditions.

Bonneval Tour with Heli Ride
From: €330ppA full ski touring day behind Val d’Isere in the Vanoise National Park starting with a 45-60 minute tour up followed by a gradual descent into a bowl and breathtaking scenery. Some traversing and travelling and more perfectly pitched descents (red run equivalent gradient off piste). Finally some touring around the flat cross country tracks through forests and past streams to arrive at the beautiful and undiscovered small and mainly off piste ski field of Bonneval. Some great cosy restaurant stops as if one was going back in times. Just enough of the day left for a whistle stop tour of a little of Bonneval hidden gems and a very high and sweeping helicopter trip 1000m above the national park back to Val Disere or Tignes. A tiring but truly rewarding day full of diversity and surrounded by nature.

Summit Mont Blanc
From: €3,130pp2 two day one night package ending in on of the longest vertical metre descents you will find around the world – in a single Helicopter drop……This package is limited to our most experienced cliental with an extremely high drop-zone at 4000m on the Italian side of Mont Blanc – a mountain that usually takes ski tourers 2 days to reach the summit of – this flight will take us a total of 30 minutes, flying directly from any of our services resorts.
The helicopter drop on the Italian side of Mont Blanc allows you to hike the final 800 vertical metres (or 3 hours at high altitude) to the summit of Mont Blanc – Europes highest point. This peak is well away from any lift access, giving you a truly wild setting with the Chamonix Valley (France) visible from the north and the Vallee d’Aosta (Italy) viable from the south.
Either straight from the helicopter, or after your hike to the summit of Mont Blanc, you will then have the extremely rare chance to ski 3000 vertical metres all the way down to the Chamonix
Valley to the famed Grande Mullets hut. Crossing high alpine glacial terrain and skiing the length of the glacier and through the tree-line to the valley floor.
This package includes a training day in resort, with your IFMGA mountain guide who will also be accompanying you during the Mont Blanc trip.
