Summit Mont Blanc
2 two day one night package ending in on of the longest vertical metre descents you will find around the world – in a single Helicopter drop……This package is limited to our most experienced cliental with an extremely high drop-zone at 4000m on the Italian side of Mont Blanc – a mountain that usually takes ski tourers 2 days to reach the summit of – this flight will take us a total of 30 minutes, flying directly from any of our services resorts.
The helicopter drop on the Italian side of Mont Blanc allows you to hike the final 800 vertical metres (or 3 hours at high altitude) to the summit of Mont Blanc – Europes highest point. This peak is well away from any lift access, giving you a truly wild setting with the Chamonix Valley (France) visible from the north and the Vallee d’Aosta (Italy) viable from the south.
Either straight from the helicopter, or after your hike to the summit of Mont Blanc, you will then have the extremely rare chance to ski 3000 vertical metres all the way down to the Chamonix
Valley to the famed Grande Mullets hut. Crossing high alpine glacial terrain and skiing the length of the glacier and through the tree-line to the valley floor.
This package includes a training day in resort, with your IFMGA mountain guide who will also be accompanying you during the Mont Blanc trip.

The Programme:
- Day one: Sunrise to early afternoon – ski touring / splitboarding at high altitude with crampons and ice axes to train for and test technique and fitness.
- Day two: if insufficient level the second day will be a touring day in the backcountry of your local resort. If you do have sufficient level then at sunrise the helicopter, striped down of all internal features leaving only seating for 2 clients, your guide and pilot, will fly to 800m below the summit of Mont Blanc, the highest it can reach (4000m). You then have two options – to summit Mont Blanc after 3 hours of very high altitude touring or start the descent from where the helicopter has landed.
3000m of descent (3800m if you reach the summit of Mont Blanc) through the expansive glaciers on the northern side of Mont Blanc, all the way down to the valley floor of the Chamonix Valley.
Short Minibus transfer from the end of the descent back to the heli take off zone to resort to resort by helicopter by mid afternoon.
