WHAT A TYPICAL HELISKI DAY LOOKS LIKES FROM MERIBEL:
Arrival into resort:
- Check into Val Heliski desk at ? (must check in before 4pm on first Sunday of your holiday)
- Sign a release of liability waiver – all members of your party must be present to sign the waiver
- Final payment of your days heliskiing
- Expert advice on weather conditions for your week giving you idea of your potential heli days and the best kit to wear
- Opportunity to purchase the following optional extras:
a.) Extra heli drops, guided days and tuition (depending on availability)
b.) Specialist off piste powder skis/boards
c.) ABS backpacks
d.) Val Heliski branded memory stick with edited Go pro footage of your heliski day
f.) Wax & edge of your skis/snowboard
g.) Lunch at our Wilderness Yurt
Your heliski day:
AM:
- 7am: Need to check into Val Heliski desk at ? (15 minutes later if not requiring rentals)
- 8.30am: Val Heliski VW Caravelle minibus will take you to the relevant heli propecia generic port or La Rosière ski resort where you will meet your heli guide (depending on your package choice)
- Kitting up, heli ski introduction with your guide, transceiver training and safety brief.
- Assessment of groups ability on and off the piste with instruction on your technique
- Number of Heli drops you booked including Savoyarde style picnic with wine between descents. (Link page with heli ski descent details)
PM:
- Helicopter out of last descent back to France (to either our Yurt, our private helipad or your resort heliport) or ski/board back to France where our vehicle collects you
- Optional late lunch at one of Val Heliski’s recommended restaurants or the Wilderness Yurt
- Optional off piste skiing for the rest of the day in the local resort until 4pm
- 4.30pm – 6pm: Apres ski party – Val Heliski VW Caravelle minibus back to ‘Jacks Bar’ in Meribel to watch video footage of your day on the big screen (invite friends and family)
